GROW Grant Update
Hands Off Kenosha has officially applied for a GROW Grant through Indivisible.
What is the GROW Grant? The GROW Grant is a capacity-building grant designed to help local grassroots groups strengthen their organizing, sustainability, and community impact.
Our proposed project:A Mobile Event & Outreach Kit — a reusable set of supplies we can use across protests, tabling events, parades, and community actions. This kit would include banners, signage, tabling supplies, accessibility materials, and other essentials that allow events to be set up efficiently and consistently.
The goal is to reduce burnout, increase accessibility, and make it easier for trusted volunteers to help lead and support actions.
We’ll share updates as soon as we hear back.
Looking Ahead: Volunteers & Team Leads for 2026
As we look ahead to 2026 events, we’re beginning to grow our volunteer base so the work can be shared sustainably.
If you’re interested in helping out next year — in big or small ways — simply reply to this email and we’ll get you set up.
Additionally, if you’re ready to step up as a team leader and help manage a specific event, project, or effort, we’d love to hear from you. These roles come with support and shared responsibility.
No pressure, no minimum commitment.
As always, thank you for being part of this community. However you’re able to show up right now is enough.
In solidarity,
The Hands Off Kenosha Team
