About Us
Hands Off Kenosha was founded during our "Hands Off" on April 5, 2025, at Civic Center Park Kenosha, WI. Attendees showed an interest in our mission, upcoming events, and ways to get involved. This enthusiasm motivated us to create a platform for community gathering, advocacy, and resource sharing. We also emphasized mutual aid and community building, valuing connections we developed.
Celebrating Our Achievements
Hands Off Kenosha is proud to have maintained a peaceful presence in our community for the past 10 months. With 10 successful events under our belt, our largest event attracted over 4,000 attendees at Civic Center Park. We've established strong partnerships with incredible organizations that consistently support our efforts. Our growing Facebook community of over 730 members, along with our weekly newsletters and monthly organizing meetings, showcases our commitment to making HOK a welcoming and impactful space.
What We Do
Hands Off Kenosha organizes community members to take meaningful action in defense of democracy and human dignity. We bring people together through peaceful protests, public education, mutual aid, and civic engagement, creating opportunities for neighbors to connect, learn, and act collectively.
Our work centers local voices, builds relationships across differences, and focuses on practical, people-powered action that strengthens our community and holds those in power accountable.
